We finished!

The RFXU apprenticeship...class of Summer 2007........is officially over!! I would like to thank Reel FX for this great opportunity, giving us a chance to work with the professionals side by side and get to know them. So many people have gone out of their way to help us out and have taught us so much in the process. I would especially like to thank Sean Jensen for all the hard work went through to start this program up, helping us get in the door, and being such a great teacher. Thank you also Tim Lannon, who has taken over the apprentice program as of about a month ago...I know you will do a great job with the future groups.

Lastly...I send my congratulations to my fellow apprentice-mates...Randy Hayes, Seth Olson, Andrew Closson, Doris Wang, Lauren Davis, Geoffrey White, and Yi-Ming Chu. Thank you all for being who you are! I've had a lot of fun getting to know you better, opening up, and really having some great times together. I've never had such strange conversations any other time in my life. I hope we can continue the life (or death) of all our zombies, ducks, and other odd creatures.

In about a week, 8 more apprentices will arrive. To you I say good luck, and don't be afraid of asking questions or speaking up around the people here. Try your hardest and give 150% to every project that you get to work on. And don't be afraid of putting in a lot of extra hours in order to get the work done. If you have any questions at all, just let me know and I'll help you out, or point you to someone that can.

So what is to become of me?... I am getting to continue here as a contract animator (YAY!) We have several exciting new projects that I am very thankful to be working on. And there is an upcoming movie to be made, which will be the highlight of my career so far!

~ Peace!
